The Biliran Bridge is a bridge that serves as a link between the islands and provinces of Biliran and Leyte in the eastern part of Visayas. Biliran Bridge represents a handshake of cooperation and friendship between the two vibrant municipalities of Biliran, Biliran and Leyte, Leyte and enhances faster political and economic progress to the region.
I went here at around 1:30 p.m. on July 19, 2013. This was during my first time in Biliran, the 23nd province on my list.
Opened in 1975, Biliran Bridge spans across a very narrow channel around 100 meters below it. It is approximately 150 meters long.
From the bridge, you can see Poro Island below it and the nearby Calumpijan Island.
Biliran destinations: Tinago Falls
Leyte destinations: Leyte Provincial Capitol
