Miniloc Island is one of four resorts owned and operated by El Nido Resorts of Ayala Land in El Nido, Palawan in the Philippines.
Miniloc Island Resort has a total of 50 rooms, composed of seven Water Cottages, five Seaview Rooms, thirteen Garden Cottages, three Cliff Cottages, twelve Beachside Rooms, and ten Deluxe Seaview Rooms. All rooms have a private verandah which offers excellent views of the sea and surrounding islands, are thatched-roofed and furnished with indigenous Filipino materials, and the walls are covered in woven bamboo slats, locally known as sawali.
What to see and do
See Miniloc’s dramatic limestone cliffs and the enchanting Big and Small Lagoons, a spectacular view of Bacuit Bay, and the island’s white sand beach. Snorkel at the house reef and swim with the resident silver jacks of Miniloc Island or dive to more than a dozen of diving sites near Miniloc Island.
How to get to Miniloc Island
Island Transvoyager Inc. (ITI) offers two daily flights (7:30a.m. and 3:00 p.m.) from Manila International Airpot to El Nido Airport. Travel time is approximately 55-minutes using a 50-seater ATR aircraft. From the airport, a 45-minute boat ride follows to take guests to Miniloc Island Resort. Return flights depart from El Nido Airport at 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Miniloc Island Resort is also accessible by land from Puerto Princesa City, serviced by Puerto Princesa International Airport. It takes approximately six hours to travel by land from Puerto Princesa City to El Nido and a 45-minute boat ride follows to take guests to Miniloc Island Resort.
