Philippines-Myanmar Sign Visa-Free Entry Agreement for Filipinos

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Friday that Philippines and Myanmar on December 5, signed a visa-free entry agreement for Filipinos holding ordinary passports and that the agreement will take effect on January 4, 2014, allowing Filipinos to enter and stay in Myanmar for up to 14 days without a visa.

The agency added, “The visa-free entry agreement is expected to boost tourism, trade and investment between the Philippines and Myanmar.”
