Photo of the Day: Boodle Fight

Originally done in the military to indicate equality and brotherhood, Boodle Fight is a style of eating where food is simply placed on top of paper or leaves, usually banana, and the diners use kamayan (bare hands) to eat.

Boodle Fight

Boodle Fight refers to the fact that everything on the table is for every one as each person can grab as much as they wanted before the food runs out or else go hungry because everyone else is gorging away.

This Photo of the Day was taken on February 25, 2007 at Amadeo, Cavite during my friend’s birthday celebration.
