Korea based investors are showing interest in a cable car project over the Iloilo Strait linking the provinces of Iloilo and Guimaras.

A Manila Bulletin reports Dream Engineering Co. Ltd. is going to invest in a Php 10 billion power project and cable car connecting Iloilo City and the island province of Guimaras. This is a major development after we first heard of this project November last year when SunStar and The Manila Times reported the good news brought by City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog as a result of their business trip in Korea with city councilor Plaridel Nava.
Citing cable cars have been part of Korean tourist attractions, the investors are studying its marketability in the said provinces. If completed, this will be the longest cable car installation in the Philippines.
