Accidental hike with other Couch Surfers in Mount Ping-As (Mount Piñgas) in Pakil, Laguna.
We were supposed to go to Mount Humarap, also known as Tatlong Krus, but our driver dropped us off at Pakil instead of Paete.
Mount Ping-As is also part of Sierra Madre mountain range like Mount Humarap. Measured from its base on the ocean floor, it rises over 1,650 ft. Mount Ping-As has only one cross compared to Humarap’s three crosses.
