The Crucified Christ and the Map of Leyte Monument on the slope of Kanhuraw Hill in Tacloban City is a small park with the statue of the Crucified Christ on one side and the Map of Leyte on the other.
I went here at 9:43 a.m. on July 18, 2013. This was during my first time in Leyte, the 21st province on my list.

Located near Tacloban City Hall, the Crucified Christ and the Map of Leyte Monument is a very large piece of artwork made of concrete, fiberglass, and steel by Nemesio R. Miranda, Jr. Miranda said that when he saw a map of Leyte, he visualized a crucified man as if mimicking a crucified Christ.
