The Tacloban City Hall is located atop Kanhuraw Hill, overviewing Tacloban City, Cancabato Bay, San Pedro Bay, San Juanico Strait, Cataisan Point, and Samar Island. It is the seat of the city government of Tacloban since June 12, 1952.
To the south of Tacloban City Hall is Balyuan Park and amphitheater, to its northeast is the peace memorial marker of Philippines-Japan friendship – the Madonna of Japan.
I went here around 9AM of July 19, 2013 during my first time in Leyte, my 21st province.
