Asik-asik Falls, a newly discovered falls Central Mindanao province of North Cotabato where water springs from the wall of rocks instead of the usual water at the top of the mountains, is splashing the Internet.

Discovered about two months ago, this breathtaking landscape may have been named from the word asik, a Hiligaynon (Illongo) term for sprinkle.

According to Jeoffrey Maitem of Inquirer Mindanao, local officials are salivating to develop the site.
