Cudugnon Cave is a cave fronting Bacuit Bay in Barangay Bebeladan, El Nido, Palawan, the Philippines.
I went here at 2:27 p.m. on September 1, 2012. This was during my first time in Palawan, the 20th province on my list.
What to see
Marvel at the rock formations inside the cave, possibly formed thousands of years ago.
Cudugnon Cave is believed to be a burial site of the people settling around this part of El Nido. It is also said that some jewelries , potteries, and other artifacts were found here but our group did not see any.
How to get to Cudugnon Cave
Due to its remote location in the foot of Mount Maateg, going by land is not advisable. By sea, one needs to rent a pump boat as there are no regular trip going to Cudugnon Cave. If you plan on visiting other attractions in El Nido, it is advisable to get a tour package from one of the boatmen in the municipality or ask you may ask your hotel. Cudugnon Cave is part of the Tour B.
