Quiapo Church, officially known as Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene and canonically known as Saint John the Baptist Parish, is a Roman Catholic parish church located in Quiapo, Manila, in the Philippines. The church is the shrine of the Black Nazarene, a much venerated statue of Jesus Christ which many faithful believe to have miraculous attributes. It is one of the most popular churches in the country.
I always pass by this church going to my school in Intramuros coming from Blumentritt but the first time I actually entered the church was on January 22, 2010 at around 9:50 a.m. This was during my first Manila photo walk with Advocacy Photographers.
