Effective immediately today, Wednesday, September 11, 2013, you can now show your e-tickets at the airport as printed tickets no longer mandatory according to Operations Order No. 2013-003, titled “Removing the Requirement of Presentation of the Printed Hard Copy of Return and/or Onward Passage Ticket.”
Passengers can now enter (fly around) and exit the Philippines using their electronic gadgets.
In a statement, Justice Secretary Leila De Lima said “This is another step to improve access to basic government services. We shall continue to work with all stakeholders to inject common sense and process logic into our systems.”
